Can We Talk About ASOS??

I’ve seen a few Valentine’s Day posts!  Do you “celebrate” Valentine’s Day with your significant other or spouse?  I have been married for a while.  Like ten years!  We have never really “officially” celebrated Valentine’s Day.  I don’t really know why, we just didn’t.  So last year we agreed to start celebrating as a way to stay connected and give one another creative gifts (I think I suggested that part).  I started with Sweetest Day (if you’re not from Michigan, disregard) in October.  Now that Valentine’s Day is approaching, I asked myself, “Do I need a dress? Are we dressing up?  What exactly is happening?”  I never turn down an opportunity to get dressed up!

I started looking for a dress at my favorite online store ASOS.  I found everything BUT a dress. LOL! What I did find was this Trapeze Wool Blend Coat with a detachable fur collar.  I love ASOS and ASOS Curve.  The sizes are forgiving and they offer Curve and Plus Size options.  I even size DOWN! How can you not love that??

This coat gave me all the feels.  I’m obsessed with 70s style because I love the way my mom and my aunts dressed during that era.  I also think it’s because it was $43 and shipping was free!!!!  You know shipping will make you walk away sometimes!  It’s not “traditional” Valentine’s Day attire, but I felt like I could throw it over a dress or it would totally dress up a pair of jeans for a casual night out!   And who says you always have to wear pink or red on Valentine’s Day?

Update:  Since I started this post there is only one left so, I included some more of my favorite ASOS coats on sale now!
